A key characteristic of this piece is that it is designed to work with king size sleeping pillows as inserts. This means we offer this piece both "stuffed" or "unstuffed".
STUFFED:
Ordering the "stuffed" version means your headboard will come ready to hang with the inserts already placed in their spots. There is a zipper at the bottom which allows you to remove the inserts for washing. Inserts are king size polyfil sleeping pillows and can be replaced as needed.
UNSTUFFED:
Ordering the "unstuffed" version means you save money on the price due to decreased shipping costs and providing your own inserts. Perhaps you already have king size pillow inserts at home that are no longer great for sleeping on, but would be great for a backrest. This is also a better environmental option due to the decreased carbon footprint (much smaller package to ship) and the ability to reuse something you would otherwise throw away. There is a zipper at the bottom which allows you to remove the inserts for washing

- Designed and made by hand in our Los Angeles studio
- 42-44" total height depending on how tightly straps are tied
- Approx. 8" thick with our provided inserts, could be slightly thinner or puffier if you provide your own inserts
Inserts
- Designed to work with King size pillow inserts
- This means you can order this piece either with inserts included (STUFFED) or if you already have pillows at home you want to re-use we have an option to order just the cover (UNSTUFFED). This piece is designed to fit standard KING size pillows. This choice also helps you save money on the cost of oversized US shipping, which is factored into our pricing.
